Things to check before you schedule a service call:
For the following Apps:
IVMS 4500, W Box VMS, Guardian Expert & Hik Connect
If you have not knowingly changed anything, yet all or some of your camera stream has been interrupted or has disappeared please go to www.canyouseeme.org FROM YOUR HOME COMPUTER (this will only work from a home computer), make sure that the IP address that shows on this website is the same IP address in the settings of your phone.
If you cannot view the cameras from your smart device, try turning the WiFi off in your phone settings and then re-entering the app and see if you are now able to view them.
Before beginning this next step, make sure you remember your log in information!
Try logging out and deleting the app off of your smart device. Re-install it and log back in. Your camera stream should now be restored.

Here are some reasons camera streams can be interrupted:
If you get a new router
If you do not have a static IP address your IP address can change at the whim of your internet provider and this can disrupt your camera stream
If you "un-check" a camera from a desktop log in, it will no longer be recognized or seen in the app
If a camera is damaged it can cause the video stream to be interrupted.
